StoryTileCraft (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app. Please read it carefully to understand our practices.

StoryTileCraft web site collects minimal data to ensure the functionality and performance of the web app.

  • Device Information (Automatically Collected):

    • Device model and operating system version.
    • App usage generic analytics data, such as page views and visit duration.

  • User-Generated Content:

    • Drawings created in the app are stored locally on your device unless explicitly uploaded or shared.
    • Drawings can be downloaded in JSON format. JSON drawings can also be uploaded back into the app.

  • UX Tracing with Plerdy:

    • If you opt to connect to the Plerdy UX tracing service, anonymized usage data, such as button clicks and navigation patterns, may be sent to Plerdy for analyzing user interactions. This feature is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide core features like downloading and uploading drawings.
  • Improve app functionality and user experience.
  • Analyze interaction data via the optional Plerdy UX tracing service to enhance usability.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your drawings and creative content remain stored on your device. We do not access or upload this data unless you explicitly choose to share it using the device OS file sharing facilities.
  • Uploaded Content: JSON uploads are processed locally within the app and are not transmitted externally.
  • Plerdy Integration: If enabled, anonymized interaction data is securely transmitted to Plerdy for UX analysis.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to third parties. Data may be shared in the following limited cases:

  • Analytics info collected by host provider “Tiiny Host” for our web app
    Tiiny Host privacy policy
    Device location, device info.
  • UX Tracing with “Plerdy”:
    Anonymized interaction data may be shared with Plerdy to analyze user experience. Plerdy’s privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy (Plerdy privacy policy).
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Plerdy UX Tracing Service:
    This optional service collects anonymized interaction data to help us improve app usability.

  • TIINY HOST hosting services for StoryTileCraft web application termsofservice.
    StoryTileCraft web application using TIINY HOST for hosting only static html, js, css, files loading by customer browser or mobile app web view component.
    StoryTileCraft web application does NOT contain any backend services for receiving back, processing or storing any customer data.
    TIINY HOST hosting services collect analytics data about device and location.
    StoryTileCraft web application not suppose any registraion or authentication process from user, therefore user id data collected for analytics mentioned in Tiiny Host privacy policy are not relevant.

6. Children’s Privacy

StoryTileCraft is family-friendly but does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided such information, please contact us to have it removed.

7. Your Choices

  • Local Data Management: All drawings are stored locally, and you have full control over their management.
  • Optional Plerdy Tracing: You can enable or disable Plerdy in the app settings at any time.
  • Delete Data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data stored on your device.

8. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted within the app or on our website, along with the updated “Effective Date.”
