    • Drawings created in the app are stored locally on your device unless explicitly uploaded or shared.
    • Drawings can be downloaded in JSON format. JSON drawings can also be uploaded back into the app.
  • Web Analytics with Plausible:

    • We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It tracks overall usage trends without identifying individual users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide core features like downloading and uploading drawings.
  • Improve app functionality and user experience.
  • Analyze interaction trends via Plausible Analytics to enhance usability.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your drawings and creative content remain stored on your device. We do not access or upload this data unless you explicitly choose to share it using the device OS file sharing facilities.
  • Uploaded Content: JSON uploads are processed locally within the app and are not transmitted externally.
  • Plausible Analytics: No personal data is collected or stored. Analytics are aggregated and anonymized.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.


4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to third parties. Data may be shared in the following limited cases:

  • Analytics info collected by host provider Netlify (the “Netlify Services”) for our web app

    We use Plausible.io for anonymous, cookie-free website analytics. No personal or identifiable information is shared.

  • Netlify hosting services for StoryTileCraft web application terms of service.
    StoryTileCraft web applications use Netlify Services for hosting static HTML, JS, and CSS files, which are loaded by the customer’s browser or mobile app web view component.
    StoryTileCraft web applications do NOT contain any backend services for receiving, processing, or storing customer data.
    Netlify hosting services may collect analytics data about device and location.
    StoryTileCraft web applications do not require any registration or authentication. Therefore, user ID data collected for analytics mentioned in Netlify privacy policy is not relevant.

6. Children’s Privacy

StoryTileCraft is family-friendly but does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided such information, please contact us to have it removed.


7. Your Choices

  • Local Data Management: All drawings are stored locally, and you have full control over their management.
  • Delete Data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data stored on your device.
